The Piano Guy is a 30-minute educational and highly entertaining how-to show that appeals to a huge audience – people who want to sit down at a piano and have fun playing their favorite tunes.

The wildly popular public television pledge special, Play Piano in a Flash! proved the enormous interest in the topic and spawned the creation of a fabulous weekly series!

The show is comprised of three fun segments…

1. Piano Secrets of the Pros - Interviews with professional pianists, who break down the techniques they use to play a wide variety of musical genres, including: blues, country, holiday tunes, rock, standards, show tunes, jazz and ballads.

2. Tips and Cheap Tricks - Mini lessons with Scott sharing a different technique (cheap trick) each week to make beginners sound more like pros and demystify a lot of what you hear piano players playing on a regular basis.

3. Key Notes - Question/Answer section where we answer viewers' questions.

NAMM is a proud supporter of Scott Houston, The Piano Guy.

More than a little

More than a little reminiscent of Yamaha's bizarre Tenori-On, iNudge is a free ccna exam online composition and sequencing tool that takes all the pesky music training out of making music. Playing with its neat grid interface, anyone can come up with ccie training funky little beats and make quirky electro tunes. It's a product of an age where musical talent can be completely divorced from the ability to manipulate strings, wind or membranes to get a desired sound - and it's a lot of fun. Have a try.ccie lab

Wow, just my kind of tune..

That was so cool! I'm in love with playing little, familiar riff's that are popular. I'm not sure why, but I'm absolutely drawn to it! The nice time I'm at my girlfriend's house, I'll definitely rock this out for her. Although, I definitely don't have the coordination to do the bass line! That was impressive! Good work guys, keep it up! - Hugh
