Bart Johnson

Bart Johnson is an American actor best known for his role as Coach Jack Bolton, father of Troy Bolton (Zac Efron), in High School Musical, High School Musical 2 and High School Musical 3: Senior Year. If Bart feels at home on a movie or TV set, there's probably a good reason for it. His mother was a stylist for a number of TV shows like Mork & Mindy and the Brady Bunch. And though Johnson caught the acting bug in high school, he would go on to study pre-med at the University of Utah before attending Yale University's School of Drama. He began his career in the late '90s, appearing on TV shows like Babylon 5 before going on to star in the High School Musical movies. Born in Hollywood, he’s married to actress Robyn Lively. In 2007, Johnson wrapped the shoot of his first job as a writer/director on the film The Run, filmed in Paraguay.
