Scott Thompson, better known by his stage name Carrot Top, is an American comedian known for his bright red hair, prop comedy, and self-deprecating humor. While still a freshman at Florida Atlantic, he appeared in his first standup comedy routine with Josh Abelson. Two months later, he performed on campus at an open-mike night.

Carrot Top has appeared in a variety of TV shows and movies and he's served as a spokesman in commercials for 1-800-CALL-ATT. In 2011, he headlined at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas and performing various comedy gigs when his show is not playing. The hotel proclaims him "Comedian of the Year."
