Choo-Choo Soul makes music fun—and fun to watch! This popular children’s entertainment act features singer Genevieve Goings as a hip-hop train conductor and her partner, D.C., a dancer and beatboxer, dressed as a railroad engineer. The duo first debuted in 2004 with a 16-track CD Baby studio album described as "kids' music that won't drive parents crazy." In May 2006, a series of Choo-Choo Soul short programs began airing on the Disney Channel during Playhouse Disney, a programming block of lively preschool programs. Their music-video style shorts feature Goings and D.C. performing Choo-Choo Soul songs with a group of young children in a blend of live action and computer animation. Choo-Choo Soul has released a music CD/DVD of their music videos on the Walt Disney Records label. In addition, the duo has performed live at the Disney-MGM Studios theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and the Boston Globe Children's Book Festival in Boston, Massachusetts.
