Famous For...: The voice of the long-running ad campaign, "Always Coca Cola"
Hailing from Worchester, Mass., Jimmy Demers is a rising star in contemporary music. He made his debut on the Jerry Lewis Telethon in 1982 and was a runner up on Ed McMahon’s Star Seadch in the mid 1980s.
Jimmy sang background vocals on CDs by Cher, Paula Abduhl and Garth Brooks. He's also been the voice of the long-rurnning ad campaign, “Always Coca Cola” and toured the world, from Bejing to Paris. Demers took part in the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games Closing Ceremony; sang “The Star-Spangled Banner" for the U.S. Open Tennis Championship; and has performed at the "Los Angeles Dodgers" as well as numerous other high-profile sporting events. In September 2008, Demers worked closely with his brother, Donnie Demers, and legendary songwriter Diane Warren in the production of his latest album, Dream a Little. His video for the song “Nothing Hurts Like Love,” stars Demers alongside supermodel Cheryl Tiegs and actress Amy Smart.
