Kenny Loggins

Famous For...: Recorded many hit songs for movie soundtracks: "I'm Alright" (peaked at #7 in the U.S.), "Mr. Night" and "Lead the Way" from Caddyshack; "Footloose" and "I'm Free (Heaven Helps the Man)" from Footloose; "Meet Me Halfway" from Over the Top; and "Danger Zone" and "Playing With the Boys" from Top Gun.

Notable Achievements: Earned a GRAMMY for Best Male Pop Vocal for "Life and Death." He was awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his recording work.

Bio:

Kenny Loggins is best known for his soft rock and adult contemporary hit singles and has had great success as a singer/songwriter on movie soundtracks throughout the years. He was originally part of the duo, Loggins and Messina, until 1976.

In 1977, Loggins went on to produce his first solo album, Celebrate Me Home, which included the hit "I Believe In Love." Loggins recorded many hit songs for movie soundtracks throughout the 1980s. In the 1990s, Loggins continued his album career, including the popular 1994 children's album, Return to Pooh Corner.

In 2005, Loggins reconnected with Messina. The two decided to tour again nationwide and create a CD and DVD, Loggins and Messina Sittin' In Again. Loggins released How About Now in 2007 and was inducted into Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard RockWalk.
