As kids, brother and sister Lee and Elaine Roy were always around country music. While she started learning guitar, he taught himself to play drums, then added bass, guitar, mandolin and keys.
They performed together at talent shows and family get-togethers, then officially formed the duo The Roys. After years of performing in their hometown of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, The Roys fulfilled their lifelong dream of moving to Nashville, Tennessee.
With some stops and starts in the music business, they kept moving forward. It was when producer Kenny Royster contacted them that they recorded an independent CD with him which yielded two top 40 singles and one top 30 on the Music Row Chart, that they started on their way to living their dreams.
Their love for traditional country music led them to form an independent label, Pedestal Records, so they could create their own music their own way. They released "Good Days" on the label and continue to keep busy writing, recording and touring to produce new songs for their fans.
