The United States Air Force Academy Band in Colorado Springs, Colo. Announces Openings
The United States Air Force Academy Band in Colorado Springs, Colo. has announced openings for the following positions:
- Percussion (classical & commercial skills required)
- Piano (jazz/commercial emphasis)
- Trumpet (classical emphasis/commercial skills a plus)
- Guitar and bass
Audition dates will be:
- Guitar & bass: Oct. 27, 2011
- Percussion & piano: Nov. 18, 2011
- Trumpet: Nov. 21, 2011
Starting salary is $31,000 to $37,000 annually, inlcuding full medical benefits, 30 days paid vacation per year, college loan repayment up to $10,000, and GI Bill for college up to $80,000.
