STILL COMPOSING LYRICS AT 82

My Nana has been composing lyrics for about 40 years now. Like most gifted people in their arts, the works get put away in a closet or somewhere where they will never see the light of day again. Maybe its because most artist do not know how to market their works or market their talent. My Nana says her gift of song writting was a gift from God. She doesnt understand how she was able to compose so many songs.
As a kid, I had heard that she had a folder with lyrics that she had written. About four years ago, my Dad shows up to my house with one of these plastic storage bin everyone has in their garage and he tells me that my Nana had send this to me and that I would know what to do with it. So I opened the lid and the bin was full all the way to the top with folders. And inside each of these folders were countless lyrics to songs that she had composed. There must have been at least fourty folders. There was not a single page left untouched by the pen in her hands. Her penmanship is flawless as if each word was being dictated to her. There is hardly a word scratched or erased in her counless songs. Every single page back and front had a song with its title and her signature "compositora Marina Barajas" thats my Nanas name.
My jaw dropped in aw, then it went to oh. What am I going to do with all of this. I was overwhelmed with emotions. Here I had in front of me not one folder with a couple of lyrics in it, but a bin full of folders with thousands of songs in them. Amazingly, the shock and joy of uncovering this treasure had just as quickly turned into this undescribable weight I felt on my shoulders. I cannot do what she had done for so long, put them somwhere where it would not be in the way.
I am not musician nor can I hold a note if my life depended on it, but ill figure it out. I will figure out how to put my Nanas music into the ears of the public wich just might give us an insight of her thoughts and feelings she wrote on a piece of paper. I will figure it out before my Nana takes her last breath. She turns 83 in March and continues to compose lyrics. Thank you for reading my Nana story. This is how I am getting started in the music industry....If you are a manager looking for material for an artist, please call me. All the lyrics are spanish and some have been performed by local singers with an overwhelming positive response from the audience. The typical question is, "Who sings that song".
