Flutist
It was at Dorothy Lane Elementary School in Kettering, Ohio that I played flute in the band. I took private lessons to learn classical music and continued to play throughout highschool. We moved to Palo Alto, Calif in 1960 where I joined the band and orchestra at Menlo Atherton High taking lessons at Dana Morgan where Gerry Garcia from The Grateful Dead taught. I went to highschool with Bob Weir however I was a classical musician who liked R & B not Rock music. Later I played in Toronto, Cannery Row in Monterery, Calif and Esalen in Big Sur as well as Toronto at coffee houses. I also taught. I travaeled with Cal Tjader and his band for awhile and played with a jazz singer in New York. Right now I mainly teach privately. I love music.
